Women in Wellness, January 19th, 2025
Join us on January 19th at 10 am for yoga, sound healing, and book reading at our residency studio, Found in Bird Rock. This is the fourth of the monthly Women in Wellness series hosted by state of sun. Each event in this series will have a theme in alignment with the founder's (Jenna-Leigh Hoffmann) book, Becoming Sunshine. Each chapter has key messages, research, and stories around health, happiness, and sustainable living.
State of sun is all about creating elevated wellness events. With this series we hope to not cultivate community through movement and mindfulness, but foster deeper connections that can support each other on our individual journeys.
Every attendee will get a collection of gifts from different wellness brands and products. Gifts could range from workout sets, swim suits, journals, food and drink, and other health and wellness products. Please input your sizes below in case. Gifts vary per monthly event!
Tickets are $70! Space is limited.
This Women in Wellness Event will focus around the theme of Chapter 4: Eating for a Sunshine Disposition in Becoming Sunshine. Please purchase a copy of Becoming Sunshine (jennaleighhoffmann.com/book), as we will be discussing key questions from the chapter together. For an overview of the January Women in Wellness event theme, please see below!
In this chapter, you will be encouraged to experiment and critically look at how you are nourishing yourself. Proper nutrition isn’t just seen in a toned physique, it's felt by a consistent mood and clear cognitive function. Chapter 4, Eating for a Sunshine Disposition, details why what we consume has an immediate effect on our bodies, minds, and souls. Leading us to either nurture our sunshine disposition or hijack it. Uncovering the benefits and cautions of the popular “food styles”, you will have the tools to understand what foods benefit you. We will explore why brain foods are essential in daily food intake and how different diets may benefit different people.
Can't wait to connect!
